From: E-Double on 30 Jun 2010 12:35 In an attempt to setup a virtual folder to a directory that resides on a remote, second domain (no trust established) the IIS virtual folder is being configured to point to the remote folder (on a seperate domain) and the credentials are in the following format: domainname\username, password. We are able to access the remote folder using this method from My Network Places (so the IIS server machine sees the remote machine and folder) but for some reason this will not connect from within IIS. Is there some additional configuration step(s) that must be performed in order to get this to work - and without setting-up a one-way or two-way trust ? On the local domain setting-up a virtual folder is pretty straightforward, but for some reason we are having issues connecting to the folder on a second domain (no trust). TIA ... e.
