From: Stefan B Rusynko on 6 Mar 2010 04:13 You need to open FP on a server based web site (not a disc based web sit) that supports databases -- _____________________________________________ SBR @ ENJOY (-: [ Microsoft MVP - FrontPage ] "Warning - Using the F1 Key will not break anything!" Depends on the operating system: Windows XP Home, Vista Home, Windows 7 Home - No Windows XP Pro - Install IIS and FrontPage 2000 extensions from the Windows CD Note that FP2000 extensions do not support all the features from FP2002 and later. Windows Vista (Other versions) - Install IIS from the Vista CD, then FrontPage 2002 extensions from http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&g=6&i=1630 Windows 7 (other versions) - Install IIS from the Windows CD, but there are no FrontPage extensions available, which makes it a non-starter for your purposes. -- Ron Symonds Microsoft MVP (Expression Web) http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/fp/wf-menu.aspx Mike Faulkner submitted this idea : > Stefan > Many thanks. > Can I mimic a server based Website on my PC? > Regards > Mike > "Stefan B Rusynko" wrote: >> You need to open FP on a server based web site >> (not a disc based web sit) that supports >> databases >> >> -- >> >> _____________________________________________ >> SBR @ ENJOY (-: [ Microsoft MVP - >> FrontPage ] "Warning - Using the F1 Key will >> not break anything!"
