A peculiar thing occurred today; on checking my mail, the usual Alert
Dialog Box was not showing up. After awhile I checked it out in the
Tools/Options/Getting Attention section, & sure 'nuff, the box had
been unchecked....re-enabling it fixed things.

My question: Anyone have any idea why this would occur, all by
itself?
