I'm in Perth, my location, regional options, time zone etc are all set to
Perth Western Australia, but when I'm in Outlook Express the spell checker
thinks its French, the options language dropdown is French and its the only
language in there, and today when I went to the MotoGP site it came up in
French!
I purchased it here in Perth.
Anyone any ideas why this is happening and how I can change it?

Most likely the language is set to french.

With most versions of Win, its in the control panel/language.

There is a known incompatability problem with the OE6 dictionary after
installing Office 2007 which overwrites old spellchecker files.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/932974/en-us?spid=2578
The workaround is to instal a third party spellchecker.
Perhaps that is the problem.
Though I can' see how that would affect the MotoGP site though. So perhaps
not.

Thanks for that, I did install Office 2007, then reinstalled Office 2003.
Looks like that's it, but fixing it might require reinstalling.....
