Hi All:

I was at Sam's Club yesterday and saw this Dell Inspiron 1545 for $478.
Specs posted below sig. The only thing I would want is a dedicated Video
card and 3-year std warranty. Still checking it out, so I don't know yet
what options for those are available. If the 1545 has a dedicated video
card slot, I can fix that, but the warranty would be a problem, since I
don't know how to fix laptops. All suggestions, and comments appreciated.
Thanks, Pat

Will do Bob, Thanks That was my next step, but Dell is getting like a
chinese menu with e-codes, coupon codes, etc. The 3-year Sam's Club
warranty after the 1-year Dell for $40 is very appealing! Pat

Bob, that Deal is gone, the e code didn't work, but the price is now $500.
Looks like I will have to spend some time on Dell and Sams to compare apples
to apples. The warranty may be the tipping point. Dual Core v Dore 2 Duo
looks like a factor too. So many choices so little time. :-) Thanks, Pat
