Ok..thank you. I found a Outlook.pst as well as Outlook1.pst and Outlook2.pst.
I ran scanpst on just the Outlook.pst and it did say it found errors and
corrected them...so we'll see if that helps.
(should I delete the other Outlooks.pst's)?

From: Neil Johnson on
My problem started with a very slow launch. From click on the Outlook icon
to the end of Send/Receive was about 15 minutes. Once running, the response
of Outlook was very slow. I ocasionally had to wait for a character to echo.
I initially had Outlook set to start automatically. This of course made the
boot-up 15 minutes plus. Outlook degraded to the point that it would not
start at all. The pop-up error box said unable to start due to error
generating form (not the exact words).

I started scanpst.exe and repaired the errors in Outlook.pst and
Outlook(1).pst and for now Outlook is working O.K.

I did open this problem with Microsoft but so far the tech did not suggest
this solution. I did inform her of my success. Thanks for the tip.
