From: Jim on
Well I scanned all the .PST's and and it seemed to help but this morning
Outlook 2007 is crashing again. (I think it is some sort of a software
conflict with my Office 2003. but thats just a guess).
Is there a way to make it run always in the 'safe mode.' It seems to be
stable then.
Thanks for all your help though.

In Outlook, click File>Data File Management and look to see what PST Outlook
is using. You should run SCANPST.EXE on that PST (with Outlook closed, of
course) and you should be able to delete any other PST.

This is an indication you may have an add-in that was designed for OL 2003
but itsn't quite tailored to OL 2007. Under Tools>Trust Center, look for
any add-ins you have and temporarily disable them.

Yes...that was the first thing I did.
But that was not the problem.

This started happening to me yesterday, except it grays out as it starts. I
set the unhide, but I still can't find outlook.pst or scanpst.
