While using my computer the power failed, now
when I boot I get a setup screen telling me to
press F1 to continue or press Del to enter setup.
The screen is showing my HD setup.
How can I bypass this screen & boot normally?

You have to fix what is causing that at boot time.

Looks like something got scrambled in the early boot stuff.

If you are running XP or Vista, you could try a repair install
but you would need the CD it was installed from to do that.

It might be enough to just save the cmos settings from that initial screen you dont want.

It's unlikely to be Windows at all, it's the boot settings (hence press F1).
Just do this & check the BIOS settings, most likely these got changed when
the power failed. It's a common thing & easily corrected. Don't try to
"repair" windows till you have checked the BIOS settings!!!
