I have recently had to reinstall my Micro-soft Word student and home
software. When I want to use Access, Powerpoint, or Excel. I am asked to
enter my product key. I do and it is not accepted, it accepted it for Word.
Why..

You should have only needed to enter the product key on install. Have you
activated the product? Secondly, Home and Student does not contain Access
AFAIK - so if that is the case, what version do you really have?

Perhaps you only have a product key for Word, not Office. Where/how did
you get the software and who installed it originally?

Who are you talking to and about what?

Please note:
This is NOT a chat room and although you think you are posting to a forum
run by Techarena - you are actually posting to a global Usenet Newsgroup.
Techarena forums leach off the Microsoft News Servers in order to make them
seem far busier than they really are. Those of us (the vast majority) who use
the MS News server rather than Techarena forums have NO IDEA what you are
talking about.

You will get a far better experience if you use a newsreader and subscribe
to these groups directly, rather than through TechArena.
