More Q2007 Premier to Q2010 Premier Conversion issues.

Problem #1--

Running the Tax Schedule Report in Q2010, I discovered that all of my
Q2007 mortgage payments showed up under the heading "Home mortgage
interest (1098)" but not my December payment input using Q2010.

But the similar Tax Summary Report showed the missing interest
payment. Looking closer, I noted that the "Tax Item" for the December
entry was blank.

Turning to the Categories List, I discovered that Tax Item for
Mortgage Interest correctly indicated "Schedule A: Home mortgage
interest (1098)".

Obviously -- a problem.

Going back to the entry in my check registry, I determined that Q2010
needs me to set the Tax Item within the split screen showing
principal, interest and escrows. This is a degredation in features to
have to remember to manually designate the Tax Item every time I make
a mortgage payment.

Problem # 2

Q2010 is showing as interest income on the Tax Schedules Report every
deposits into 1 of my checking accounts. When I right click on the
deposit entry, it lets me see and manually change the Tax Item (to
blank). Changing the dates back to my earliest Quicken entries, I
discovered that deposits to this account back to 1998 ! are
corrupted.

I never realized that accounts could have tax attributes (the entire
listing of tax attributes was available).

What is going on?
