When I try to open my Archive.pst file thru File/Open/Outlook data file-
nothing opens. The archive file is only 165kb, but I know that the
autoarchive option stores the archive in this folder because I checked in
Options under tools and that is the destination source. When I manually
click "Autoarchive" I see files being transfered in the bottom right hand
side of the Microsoft Outlook screen. So the long and short of it is that I
know something is being archived and I need to restore it. Can anyone help
me?

Please state your version of Outlook wehn asking questions - it often saves
a lot of time and effort.

Check your Autoarchive settings. Is it set to delete old items?

Are you aware that the way Autoarchive determines the "age" of an item is
the date it was last changed/moved etc.

If you REALLY mean 165 Kb and that's not a typo, then that's an EMPTY pst
file.
