Sue,

Thanks. I've scanned my computer for viruses, malware, spyware, adware, etc.
and every thing comes up clean. How would it get access to the Contact List
on Hotmail/Windows Live? I've been out of "this game" so long I'm not up on
the latest. Will change PSW ASAP. TFAYH. (I thought I had just made that
last one up: "thanks for all your help" for the clueless like me, but sure
enough it already existed). Here's a few new ones I like.

SSEWBA - Someday Soon, Everything Will Be Acronyms

and

IDKWTHHTEBTYG - I dont know what the heck happened to English, but there you
go.

CYASOO.

Ricky, try logging in to hotmail the 'old way' -- via the web and not
through windows live mail.

Your address book for hotmail is inside your account there. The spammer
gained access to your hotmail account.

Primary thing is to change your hotmail account password ASAP.

Sue,

I can't find the "old" way. No matter what I enter: www.hotmail.com, etc. it
takes me to Windows Live (which is via the web too).

Thanks,
Ricky

That means your address book in Windows Live *is* your hotmail account
address book.

Change your password from Windows Live then.
