Hi All

I have a customer who has a sbs2008 standard version running on thier
server. They have just bought a program that requires sql2008 (not sure yet
if it needs to be the full version or can be the lite version)

Will SQL2008 install ok on this sbs box as I know you would usually buy the
correct version with sql.

Thanks

Glenn

You need to verify if it can use one of the lesser versions of SQL, but yes,
those install fine on SBS 2008. If you need the full version, it is a *lot*
less expensive to upgrade your SBS to Premium... you get a second license
of Windows Server Standard and a full blown license for SQL.

You can either use your web browser, or if you prefer to use your existing
(or different) nntp news reader you can use one of the official MS bridge
applications, or the combined one on codeplex.com

Official MS Bridge - Note two required.

Codeplex nntp bridge - only one required.
