From: testing_h on 12 Jan 2006 06:55 Hi all. Just been trying to unlock an Xbox drive to use on a very old PC that won't support the newer high density drives. Unfortunately the mainboard and EEPROM are long since gone, so does anyone know of a way to force the "Secure Erase" option as the data on the drive is unimportant. FYI the Seagate drive's serial number is 5JRBK2GV and both the master and user passwords are enabled. Thanks, -A
