Hello

Facts:
Windows XP SP3
Windows 2003 domain

i am trying to setup mandatory profiles by following these steps

1 login on a xp computer
2 customize the profile
3 log off and reboot
4 login with (domain) admin credentials
5 This computer --> properties --> Advanced --> user profiles
- copy the profile to a network location
- add all authenticated user in the permitted to use dialog

I cannot add authenticated users or everyone in the permitted to use dialog
It is is unable to find the groups
I have made sure that i look in
- users
- groups
- Builtin

I have tried it with different XP workstation, i have readded XP workstation
I can use authenticated users group or everyone when administering shares

How can i add the correct group in permitted to use when transporting the
profile ?

Is there a way for doing the settings manualy instead of using the permitted
to use box?
- like setting registry/ and file permissions on the profile before copying
it ?

does anyone have sugestions how to troubleshoot the problems of not being
able to lookup the authenticated user group ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

The reason why i was unable to add the authenticated users or everyone was
that the server use another language than the workstation. When i used the
correct language to lookup the builtin group all went ok
