Ive created some forms in InfoPath for our sharepoint sites. I failed to
realized that the end user needed a "sharepoint compatible XML editor" in
order to use the form. MS suggest converting the form into asp.net in order
for end users without infopath to enter data into the form.

My question is: Is there a free "sharepoint compatible XML editor" that i
can distribute to our clients so they dont have to buy infopath and would
keep me from makggn them in asp.net?

Thanks

Mike

There are quite a few free XML editors (or free versions of chargeable
tools) but the problem is probably would that be enough for your users?

They will be able to see the XML but without InfoPath they still won't be
able to use the InfoPath form as you presumably intended when you created
it.

Weren't you aware that users of InfoPath forms needed InfoPath on their
clients?
