I to have the same error trying to install the kb891183 hotfix. Above the
0x643 I do see a ling that also fails it states

loadfilequeue updspgetsource file location for halmacpi.fll failed 0xe0000102

this is the only failure i see in the whole log. Could this possibly be
stopping the update? I also tried the other two hotfixs in place of this one
and one of them fails as well

I am having the same issue with a SBS2003 server. I have instralled this
update hundreds of times without error. How ever no matter what I do and how
many different approuches I use to resolve this there seems to be no light at
the end of the tunnel.

I ususally end up here as a last resort so I was quite pleased to find this
thread.

Installing from the builtin Administrator account resolved all problems. it
would be so much easier if the readme warned that it is manditory to install
the SP from the Administrator account.
