If it doesn't support the FP SE you can't use FP to publish in html mode
- you can use FP FTP publishing,
(just enter the FTP path your host gave you in the Remote site settings after you select FTP)
- but quite often 3rd party FTP programs like FileZilla are better/faster

This particular site does not support FP SE, but I used to have a website on
a server that didn't support it either and I never had problems publishing to
it because I had that turned off in my website.

I just don't know how to use FP to navigate to those deeper level folders.

As I said before, my FileZila will let me in so can I just copy updated
webpages from my computer to the remote site. But will doing that work,
because I am actually not publishing just copying?
