Right click desktop->unlock widgets.
Right click desktop->add panel.
Move panel to bottom of screen.
Right click panel->Add widgets
Add task manager widget.

Right click desktop->Lock widgets.

Uninstall KDE 11.2 and try KDE4. Than : just startup. It should be there
by default.
