I'm downloading from Fidelity and I got a new reinvest dividend transaction.
It is a NEW transaction, but Quicken has decided that it's a near match.
The 2 transactions aren't really close:

1/30/2010 4.881 shares @ 10.87 $53.06
2/12/2010 1.202 shares @ 10.723794 $12.89

I wouldn't call that a near match but Quicken does.

The problem is Quicken won't let me UNmatch them. The downloaded
transactions (not accepted yet) only has an Accept and Delete button. Right
clicking on the new transaction only yields

Accept Transaction
Accept All Transactions
Delete Transaction

No where I can find is there a choice to either unmatch the transaction or
make the transaction new. My ONLY choices are to Accept it or Delete it.
If I accept it the new transaction completely overwrites the one it calls a
near match.

So what can I do? How do I tell Quicken that those are NOT matches before
accepting?

Bruce.

Change the date of the existing Quicken transaction to something like one
year in the future. That should remove the "near match" status, and make
the downloaded transaction, "New". After accepting the downloaded
transaction, change the date of the pre-existing transaction back to the
correct date.

True, actually it's 2 bugs. It shound never have called those transactions
a near match, and it shouldn't have left me with no option but to overwrite
an existing transaction.

I'll report the bugs via the Quicken email support.

Bruce.
