I am unable to add internet sites to favorite. Is there a solution? Thanks

Unless you can tell us in specific detail what you've tried, how you
tried it, and what went wrong, including any error messages... no,
there is no solution.

Using windows internet explorer

1) open a site - microsoft.com
2) click add to favorite
3) click add
4) click add
and I get "Unable to create" (name of site) Unspesified error

I've never seen that error before. I assume you're using Windows XP
and IE6. You can try reinstalling the operating system (just a
reinstall, not a format) or you could try using another (better IMO)
browser.

Here's a couple:
Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Opera: http://www.opera.com/

And if those don't tickle your fancy you could always try upgrading to
IE7?

Does the Favorites folder exist and in a location where you have write
permission? It's usually found at

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Favorites

Maybe it's corrupt. Try dragging the folder to another location using
Windows Explorer, and then back - that might reset its attributes, as
far as Windows is concerned.

You could also download the TweakUI Power Toy from Microsoft. Then
using it to re-designate that folder as the Favorites Folder.
