If I install the iLife '08 demo and realise it is not worth the money to
upgrade, can I easily uninstall it and go back to iLife 6?

It looks that way. I never bothered with iWork 6, but all the iWorks
bunnies install into /Applications/iWork '08/ so it looks like they
will keep out of each others' faces.

You might get a preferences tangle though.

You can get a demo? Where?

I'd like to be able to try the new iMovie to see if it'll talk to my
settop DVD/HD recorder. It hasn't been able to since version 5, so I
still have to use iMovie 4.
