My Hanns HH251 monitor came with a dvi-d to hdmi cable. Will this work
on the video cards dvi-i connector? I have been looking for a dvi-i to
hdmi but have not brrn able to find one.

It will work just fine. -D is just the digital portion,
while the -I adds the analog lines, which the Monitor
doesn't need.
