Hi Vladimir,
Lena said a nice thing to me. Do you remember
when we all met in that small room at the Chinese
restaurant (with the Heinekin beer)? Lena said
that when we were all in that small room, she
thought the average IQ of the outside world dropped
by two points.

Ha ha. We sure had Lena fooled, didn't we?

See Ya',

Unlikely. She has enough wit herself to create a local anomaly.

Two links seem to be broken (NOT counting the one that is obviously not a
link) :

1) Vlad's intro (I was able to guess at it and find this: the
presentations/ prefix was missing)

2) Dale's presentation (I have not been able to guess where this is)

Rick Lyons's "Improving FIR Filter Coefficient Precision" is pending
publication in a magazine; we have to wait until that.

The web page is not yet complete. It will be announced.

Did everybody made it home OK ? I haven't heard from Jerry Avins.

Not only was no one shot, no one was shot at. Lena (pronounced, as far
as I could tell, like Vienna but with a leading 'L') thought my
35-year-old Winchester was a joy to shoot, and upon seeing her tight
cluster, Vlad called it a sniper rifle.

As much fun as the shooting was, the two days of presentations that came
before were enlightening and uplifting. It was good!
