What is the best backup software for full
images?

Will it work on Win7 32 bit and Win 7 64 bit?
(I still have not decided which way to go.)

THanks,

I don't know if this will support 64-bit Win 7.

Define "best".

What's best for me could be terrible for you.

Hank, is Acronis 10 100% compliant with windows 7 now? I thought I read
like 6 months ago people complaining it was not or am I mixing it up
with another brand? Do you have a preference of Acronis or Paragon?
Do either backup open files in windows 7 x64 ?

On occasion I get some programs that just won't install or work in my
win 7 x64 system and I don't know if it's my firewall (even if suspended
and windows firewall off) or something else. Others say the same
programs worked on their similar OS. I'm almost tempted to reinstall
windows 7 on another hard drive and start over. The more I think about
that, it's maybe not a bad idea??? I don't have 100% confidence in
backups to do this on the same drive by choice.
