I have a ton of *.SYX files that load and play great in Native Instrument's
FM7. They have FM8 available now, but I haven't tried it yet.

It's like having my old DX7 back without all the hexadecimal programming and
limited MIDI implementation. ;-)

Thanks Russ!
I wish my DX was newer so it could send/receive sysex :(
I used to be half good at programing those buggers. But I went back to
knobs...

You are most correct!
My wife will never forget that Saturday. I had every stomp box/pedal hooked
up to the DX and played the solo on '12'.
For a minute I was Jimi.......

My DX was the first batch shipped. It just don't work with sysex. When there
was a thread a while back on sysex devices, I tried them all, but the DX
wasn't talkin.
After further reasearch I learned it does not have the capability.
