Get someone else on the phone at PBattery. They will be able to
straighten this out.

If your son didn't receive two batteries, ask PBattery to provide a
shipper for the second battery.

PBattery must have sent your son an order confirmation email for at least
one order (maybe two?). Could he still have that in his deleted mail
box?

One time I was charged (can't remember by who) twice for the same item,
and the vendor had no problem reversing one charge when they saw that the
second charge was made less than a minute after the first charge.

I appreciate you trying to warn us but suppose you had the customer
number, could they do something then? If yes, then this warning is
not to lose the customer number, correct otherwise you're screwed?

i have no opinion of pacific battery but it is hard to believe that
anyone could forget their order number, the email address used to
purchase the item, and the credit card company used to pay for and item
(particularly when they are looking at the bill that shows unexpected
charges). call the credit card company and dispute the charge. that
will get a vendor's attention if your call to them could not.
