I can't remember the name of the xover, but I'll check it.

I'm sure it does.

800w into a single 18 is more what I'd expect. Have you got an measurements
from the boxes, what are they tuned to work to? Many custom boxes can drop
off hard at the low end, you may want to add a steep high pass filter, start
at about 35hz then work upwards, as you could be bleeding a lot of power
into making not a lot of noise. Also maybe look at your crossover slopes,
when positioning subs away from the tops a harder slope may help definition.

As others have said, to make your subs sound less postional move the
crossover point down, until it sounds right. If you're covering 30-120hz
that's the bottom two octaves, and probably as much as you'd want them to
cover.

And remember kids, RAID is safe and the UPS never fails, and Cisco routers
never develop intermittent faults, and external hard drives never fail with
only a month's use, and the DNS is reliable and resilient, and the
mailserver is protected from all forms of attack, and the replacement UPS
will be reliable as the first one was an unusual failure. No one will ever
guess /that/ password, the aircon can't fail 285V is close enough to 230,
and the QoS on the PWan won't obstruct the tagged traffic.

Which ones? Eminence makes a whole range of 18s.
From low power stamped frame budget drivers, to
cast frame heavy duty subs.

They are built to Eminence plans, 7 foot, 4 port reflex box tuned to 38hz.

We have the filters on the 1450s set to 30hz and he uses a filter on the Xone
mixer as well.

Yes, will try that.

Sigma Pro. I've built lots of these systems and people love them. These are 7'
four port reflex boxes, I've also made 5'.
