Does Macro Express Pro support FTP? If it does, give a try to vxFtpSrv.
Even if it doesn't, giving a call to the system-level FTP app in Window
should work as it's entirely command line-based and, therefore, Macro
Express Pro's ability to issue textual commands should work.

Exactly how would that help him communicate with an attached WinMo device?
The WinMo device doesn't have an FTP server on it.

fwiw, that's why I suggested googling for additional apps to meet this

My intent was to point out that there are no native server options
within winmobile ...by design.

Natively, indeed it doesn't - but vxFtpSrv is a third-party one and works
just great.

But isn't the OP's task here to comission new devices, and he's trying to
speed that up? If he has to install the FTP server on each device manually
before doing the comissioning, I don't see where it buys him any improvement
in things.
