third-party seller is involved, it is that person's responsibility to
furnish the necessary software, not Microsoft and not the manufacturer. In
the case of an EBay sale, we've seen all too often that no software is
included in the sale, and people are bitten by that all the time
unfortunately.

Couldn't it be that it would be the seller to blame for not having
giving given you the full set of CDs????

As said in my reply to Chris I got the MUI in additon to the German
version.
Does Acer give less?

Only too true!! [siiigh]
One can not be careful enough and it's necessary to ask for the
details prior to bidding.

I bought mine on eBay too. But I would not have done it without having
the proof for the rest of the warranty and the reconfirmation for the
full set of CDs.
