I can't load any safe modes.
Last config doesn't work either.

Do you know if it's possible to go back further than last config?

Because when I look at that file, there are numerous versions that are
numbered and they go back in time of creation.

What's in them?

Your Registry is corrupt and obviously the OS will not start. Did you follow and do
as the instruction say's in the MS KB I supplied to you

if you can;' boot in
either normal mode or
safe mode,

then you have the option
to boot with an xp cd.

with it you can launch
the recovery console and
run some commands at
the disk prompt.

let us know if you can
launch the recovery
console.

I can get Recovery console.

I did attempt the procedures in the microsoft page.
part one went ok.
part two assumes I can start windows.
I put the drive in another pc and looked at the system volume
information folder and found nothing

what you can try at
the disk prompt via
the recovery console
is to run the following
commands>:

chkdsk /r
fixboot

then exit, remove cd
and see if you can
boot again.

if you still cannot
boot,
