Ok, I'm gonna step back as I don't have wm5 and can't test but assume
others can.

To help them, could you indicate the size of the images (possibly a
sample url) and confirm that images with the same name do not already
exist on the ppc. (I think these go to the main memory "My Documents"
folder but could be wrong or settable.

As Werner indicated, it will also help to know if you have third party
software or utilities installed.

Thanks. SBP Pocket Plus is always the first app I reinstall after a hard
reset, so I didn't remember if that was a native function or not!

We've been meaning to have an intervention about this...

You're not so special that you deserve a faster, more stable device than
everyone else- upgrade to WM5 already and suffer like the rest of us! ;-)

I'm going to be less polite and less patient than the others. The
folks who are trying to help you are not mind readers and cannot see
your device. If you want them to help, you really need to provide more
information. When one of them asks a question, try to answer at least
that question, and then maybe a bit more.

Seems there's always a karmic balance to life... sure there are scores
(if not more) of people I drive up the walls, so, this is probably like
"paying dues" ;-)

Sure he/she has attributes to contribute here and elsewhere which we may
never be aware of.
