Though Toys 'R Us seem to be out of them, Kaybee Toys in other
states (not California) may still have them. I will be in Las Vegas,
Nevada in a few days and check with Kaybee there.

Actually, it depends. There are an increasing number of devices which
will show PAL inputs on AV inputs ... just because the appeal of
economies of scale across Europe, US and Oceania for (eg) Chinese
manufacturers. I was surprised to see that the AV inputs on our new LCD
TV claim that it accepts NTSC (American style), PAL-1 or PAL-SECAM.
