Bingo ... that's what we're after.

First, quit PPT if it's running.
Go to that same place in REGEDIT.

First, we'll back up this section of the registry in case you need to get it back later:

Right-click on OCRWARE
Choose EXPORT from the popup menu.
Give the file a name and save it to your desktop.
Beneath the filename section of the Save As dialog box, there'll be two radio-button
options; choose "Selected branch" rather than "All"

Now we'll delete the OCRWARE entry:

Next, right-click on OCRWARE again
Choose DELETE from the popup menu.

Fire up PPT, see if it still natters at you.

No? Congratulations, felicitations, and ... of course! ... EXULTATIONS!
