[Samba] why both smbd.log and log.smbd?
Our smb.conf file contains: log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log yet the /var/log/samba directory has all of these: smbd.log log.smbd nmbd.log log.nmbd I verified that the %m.log forms are from the log file line by temporarily changing it to foo_%m.log. Inexistant file displayed by samba
Hello, Running 3.2.0, and in one of my share, a file named TABAFK~V appeared, but is not present on the underlying filesystem. Hello all, When I try to add a user to my secrets.tdb file on my Samba 3.2.0 PDC, the users are always added under the local machine domain, not the global domain.
