SOLVED! Samba PDC [3.5.3], Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Temporary local profile for a specific user
I managed to solve this one... I restarted my internet search, but now NOT assuming it was a Samba problem, but a Windows 7 specific problem: The solution is provided here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itproinstall/thread/50ccd066-77d6-45a7-97aa-061a9fc1287c And indeed, my account was a... 24 May 2010 12:20

[Samba] Still stuck with Samba on Solaris 10
I was hoping someone could post, or point me to, a clear set of instructions for compiling Samba 3.5.3 (or even 3.4.8) on Solaris 10. Or even just confirmation that Solaris 3.5.3 really can compile on Solaris 10 with active directory, nsswitch and zfs support. (I notice that Samba and Blastwave versions of Samba ... 23 May 2010 22:18
