Sendmail 8.14.3 on fedora 12 64 bits
Hi ! Since my previous Sendmail installation (8.14.1), something may have change regarding STARTTLS. My Windows XP clients could relay anymore when using Outlook and Outlook Express. After some research, I found that this may be related to the "inferior" cipher used (RC4-MD5) by these programs while using Wind... 14 Jun 2010 05:09

I have found that ISC's libbind 6.0 does have this function, but for some reason, this was not being detected and the dummy sub routine was being compiled in regardless. Commenting out the stub for freehostent() locally fixed the problem. The milter library of Sendmail needs to be fixed to detect the presence of... 4 Jun 2010 20:17
Planning a Sendmail install on Solaris Zones
I have a project coming up to install Sendmail as a SMTP server for a small application. It will run on a Solaris Local Zone. I'm told I can install the new Sendmail and its binaries on the Local Zone. Since the local zones share the binaries of the GLocal Zone I want to ensure I plan this project properly. Ar... 4 Jun 2010 09:11

my email is not hosted on the same machine as my website, which is triggering a 67 error code when sending to emails on the same domain. basically, for user(a)mydomain.com, sendmail looks for the localhost "user", can't find it, and throws an error -- when it should be sending the email based on the existing MX Recor... 3 Jun 2010 13:23
