Any way to get phone call when I get an email?
Is there free service that will call a phone number when I get an email? I think that my phone (a Droid MOTA855) will last longer between charges if it doesn't have to check for email. (I'm assuming that the built-in Verizon Droid eMail application checks for email or uses additional power just sitting there wai... 23 Jul 2010 01:39
Log file thing I don't understand
Per Gunnarsson wrote: relay=per(a)localhost It means you invoked sendmail on the command line in MSP mode. It connected to the MTA over the loopback on port 25; that's where "localhost" comes from. The "per@" part means you're running the identd daemon on your host, so it can figure out your username. Re... 23 Jul 2010 13:37
LDAP issue.
I've recently noted that my LDAP interface is throwing an error with Sendmail. OpenLDAP seems to be speaking version 3 of LDAP, while Sendmail seems to be speaking version 2, and the LDAP server is rejecting the queries. What do I need to fix this situation? Is there something simple like a compile-time option... 26 Jul 2010 18:16

Temperture sensor -emailing - "no response"
I have device that has been working fine until our provide upgraded to the latest version of sendmail. hardware = cobalt raq550 running strongbolt 2 (Centos 4) sendmail version: 8.13.1 I can't get sendmail to obey whitelisting. use of virtusertable
Hello, in order for @domain.com beeing passed through virtusertable, it must be added to local-host-names. another option may be putting the domain into relay-domains, and make use of mailertable and access. but i believe in your case local-host-names and virtusertable is the easyer way. Apparent relaying (but not really?)
I've got a LAN behind a firewall, on 192.168/16; the DMZ side of the firewall has address 192.168.10.20 (say), and the internet side has 123.4.56.78 (say). Someone sends a message to user@[123.4.56.78]; the filewall (with port 25 open) lets it through, but sendmail, not recognising the IP as either a local IP or ... 9 Jul 2010 09:25
