I have Vista Home Edition, with Comodo Firewall 3 and Spywareterminator
Resident protection. I have the same problem too. I tried to install
manually too with no success. I have Microsoft Office 2002 XP and their
telling me about Microsoft Office 2003... I don't understand. Waiting for
the Microsoft team to correct their error here as soon as they can. For now,
I've masked this update in Windows Update.

microsoft suggests)!

I think that Microsoft is doing a bad work with this. How can it be that so
many people have the same problem with an important update (that's what they
claim).
I have a laptop with windows vista premium installed. I change the office
modifications, I tried to download it manually unsuccessfully and I search
the net for answers unsuccessfully.
I think that only someone from the company itself can solve this problem.

Thank you

Hi,
I have the same problem as everyone here with this update. Not only
cannot I not update KB942763 but everytime now when I turn on my
computer the automatic update feature keeps trying to download and
install the update and now my update window in the control panel is
filling up with failed messages and still showing that I need to
downoad and install an update. This is very annoying. I've been
working with Microsoft support regarding this problem but to no
avail. You would think that M$ would have some clue! Also, since
this update is for Daylight Savings and since my clock/date shows the
next daylight savings begins March 9th that this update wouldn't be
necessary in the first place. M$ still hasn't answered that point so
I can't tell you here.
