FWIW, same problem here with Win VISTA Ultimate.

Quite a bit of chatter on the net about this.

MS has been very quiet. Maybe they will have a fix!?

You can hide this update in WU Home in the Hidden Folder.
Then when a fix comes out it is there ready to install.
But I don't think you are using Vista like the others.
Also, set your update preference to 'Notify' when updates are offered - then
you can pick a time, and the continuing DL/Install will stop.

I don't know if my other posting went through so here's another one.
I AM using Vista Home Premium. I'll go to control panel and make the
change. Thanks.

Wow, so many people with the same issue.

Where is the Microsoft Rep when you need one?

I had the same problem, finally got it installed by uninstalling Comodo
Personal Firewall. I don't know how many of you are using 3rd party
firewalls, maybe try uninstalling them to see what happens??
