wannabe cops who probably couldn't do it otherwise. jobsworths, again.
I am not sticking up for the policy, it stinks. I'm just fed up
reading this same stuff from you constantly. I challenge you to make
at least one positive stand alone post each day for a week.

There are many such references that would be missed. I suspect that many, if
not most here were too young to have appreciated the reference. Similarly,
if I refer to Gracie Allen's hat collection, or Fibber McGee's closet, how
many would get the reference.

You're Canadian. Why the obsession with Britain?

None of this is any business of yours.

My own view of the Brits was that their churches were full of laughter on
Sunday morning as they were getting Saturday night's jokes.
My older daughter and a Brit, who worked in the London office of the same
company used to continually, set up some elaborate practical jokes on each
other. One day he said that he was the exception that proves the rule about
Brits. Then she found out he really was an Aussie.

it depends where you live I guess. and your sense of humour. for a
small country we have pretty wide tastes in comedy.
