LG stuff is designed to fail just out of warranty, I'm certain of it. Lucky
Goldstar may have had a corporate makeover but it's only skin deep as their
stuff is still just the same old junk simply dressed up with a modern look.
When my old Simpson washer died after 18 years of reliable service and I
took it to the tip there were two of those flash looking LG washing machines
there that couldn't be much more then two years old.

Yup, that was the problem with my -less then two year old- Samsung LCD. They
assured me that the new power boards no longer have an issue with bad caps,
but we'll see. At least it's an easy fix if it happens again out of
warranty.

Everything has bad caps - so they say.

White bread gives you colon cancer.
Your intestine - not the punctuation mark.
