Updating Dazuko
Is there any chance that Dazuko could be updated. DazukoFS 3.1.3 is now the official stable release. The port version is seriously deprecated, dazuko-2.3.7 and it is marked as broken on FreeBSD => 8. -- Jerry ✌ FreeBSD-Ports.user(a)seibercom.net Disclaimer: off-list followups get on-list replies or get ignored... 24 Jul 2010 13:24

Problems with sysutils/screen (GNU Screen)
I've been having problems with GNU Screen on FreeBSD 8.x. First, the TERMCAP environment variable as automatically set by screen causes things not to work. (vi says "cannot open terminal database", mutt says "no terminal database", etc.) Second, when I put `eval tset -s` in .bashrc to reset the TERMCAP, curses-ba... 23 Jul 2010 23:29

Installing makefiles for BSD Make
Dear list, I want to port some software using BSD Make makefiles to build. I should probably port this collection of makefiles itself and I wish to know what is the best way to let make(1) find them. I think these files should go in ${LOCALBASE}/share/mk but maybe someone has a more interesting suggestion?... 23 Jul 2010 05:56

How do I solve this WRKDIR problem?
I'm trying to update the devel/byaccj port, which I maintain. The new version has made some subtle changes in naming, which have thrown me for a loop; PORTNAME= byaccj PORTVERSION= 1.15 DISTFILES= byaccj1.15_src.tar.gz WRKDIR is work/byaccj1.15 when the files are extracted. If I don't define WRKSRC, it'... 22 Jul 2010 22:24
Sourceforge has changed?
I'm trying to update a port that I maintain, but the download is failing. Here's the actual path of the download: http://nchc.dl.sourceforge.net/projects/afterglow/files/AfterGlow%201.x/1.6/ But the macro has SF/project/, so the download fails. Did Sourceforge just change their downloads path? It sure looks l... 23 Jul 2010 15:49

Integration between portconf and port options
Christopher Key ha scritto: At present, the interaction between portconf and port options is somewhat confusing. It's not completely clear to me if you are referring to my portconf port. If so, the interaction is really simple: portconf is complementary to port OPTIONS, that is, it's to be used for ports th... 25 Jul 2010 19:27
