I must have a higher tolerance for things like that than I realized! :-)

Discussions on refilling (or most other topics relevant to the particular
forum) are allowed, but recommendations to specific suppliers and/or links
to third party websites are not. For full terms of use see:
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/hp.rulespage and
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/termsofuse.html

"Rants" are not allowed, nor are personal attacks. The forums are generally
focused on technical issues and their solutions.

Thanks, Bob! That looks like a good site for HP-approved info on
their whole line of printers (and other products). Besides the
Deskjet D1430, I also have an HP Color LaserJet 5M that could be
running better than it is now, and I'm sure that site will have lots
of useful suggestions for that one too!
