Problem with 11.2 in VMWare player
I have installed the 32 bit version of 11.2 into a virtual machine running on VMWare player on 32 bit Windows XP. The install went fine and the VM works correctly but for one problem. eth0 disappeared
Why did this happen? I had to go into Network Connections and add it back in. Then it connected. Opensuse 11.2 Gnome kernel 2.6.31.12-0.1 default. vmnet1, vmnet8 and vboxnet0 were ok. USB Drive
The USB drive used to show up as /media/disk and I could reference it from the command line, e.g. "dir /media/disk". Now it seems to be /dev/sdc1 and "dir /dev/sdc1" doesn't do anything useful.
