As a proof of concept I want to configure a squid server where I have access to it from the outside. For obvious reasons I would like to use a login and password. Monitor goes to power save standby
I have OpenSuse 11.0 installed. After a set time the monitor goes to standby and a key pressed or movement of the mouse must be done to bring the monitor active. I do not want this to happen. strange sound behavior
Hello all, I've got a very strange sound behavior. I installed a new 11.2 from scratch in an AMD64. I have sound in KDE itself, in amarok, in kaffeine, in ksCD. OpenOffice problem
I'm having a problem with a spread sheet in oo. When I enter the path to another spread sheet in a formula, Calc forces the entire path to all lower case. Nedit in kde4
I used to append nedit*fontList: -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--20-*-*-*-*-*-* to /etc/X11/Xresources to make the menu fonts visible but now that don't work either. Shutdown
Opensuse 11.2 no longer knows the difference between shutdown and log off. When it goes to log off, the shutdown button there don't work either. Then you log in and it hangs at the green screen and won't do anything. Ctrl/backspace don't work, ctrl/alt/delete don't work. Can only power off. What needs fixing? ... 24 Jan 2010 10:06

Have just installed a bright shiny new 11.2, KDE4/Dolphin. I am stumped regarding access to drives.
