Do they have lots of that yet? ;) And which "they" are you referring to? If it's the "weather they"... you know, the ones who never manage to predict the 22 inches of "partly cloudy" that falls somewhere or other now and then... I suspect you'd be disappointed with the stability of their softsynths. ;-)
From: Cap'n Ron on 12 Apr 2007 10:05 I too am considering alternatives to my current softsynth, the Yamaha SYG-50 I think. This thing is as simple as it gets, just set it as output and play midi files through it. I don't have to program instruments of change patches, but some of the sounds are dated or slightly inferior (like guitars). What would be most like this softsynth in todays market with upgraded sounds? From: Max Arwood on 12 Apr 2007 14:26 Don't know why you ask for TTS-1 alternative. I don't think the TTS-1 is all that bad. Here is a song I did with TTS-1 last year. All parts are TTS-1 except the lead is a Yamaha VL70m sax patch. I know that web page says flute. I originally did this on a real flute and replaced it with this version. http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=4038200&q=hi Max Arwood "Angof" <angof(a)nospam.com> wrote in message news:461d5ad3$0$8732$ed2619ec(a)ptn-nntp-reader02.plus.net... > Hi all, > > Is there any alternative to the TTS-1? > > Angof >
