It does NOT sound like you secured the wireless router and thus the PC may very well be
clean and it is the wireless that got you in trouble!

Whether or not there are *other* wireless networks in your neighborhood
is irrelevant. All a spammer needs is a wireless capable laptop and he
*might* be able to use your IP address by using *your* wireless network.

I am not in the States, living temp elsewhere. I am absolutely certain the
neighborhood will not and cannot access into my network. That is why
I had so much trouble getting an ISP. Many even don't understands English
let alone owning a computer.

My main concern now how to unbanned myself and not network problem.
That, my ISP will have to figure it out and do what's is needed.

I knew about it, before I moved from CA. I can see "FREE unsecured network"
and never attempted to try it out. Just too dangerous!
