switching regulator with mcu
Hi to newsgroup I'm making a mcu based device which i want to be very small and low cost The design consumes 100..120 ma @ 3.3V The problem is the installation that requires 12 or 24 volts to operate. I don't want to use a switching regulator to make the voltage drop since its to much circuit involved and also... 3 Nov 2009 00:34
ua741
I'm aware of uA741 slew rate issues and limited GBW, but I can't even get above gain of 2x with Vcc of +/- 12v and input sine wave of 5mV peak at only 100Hz (yup, one hundred Hz). What? ... 19 Oct 2009 09:42

DIY electromagnet under £100: Disappointing results
harry wrote: Unfortunately the relationship between ampere turns and the magnetic flux generated is not linear. Ie doubling ampere turns does not double the flux. Also, at some point, the magnetic material "saturates" and you can add as many ampere turns as you like but flux will not increase. ... 8 Oct 2009 14:35
