An exact 1-D integration challenge - 67 - (erf, sqrt, arcsin)
Hello, Mathematica: Integrate[Erf[ArcSin[z]]/Sqrt[1 + z], {z, 0, 1}] Maple: int(erf(arcsin(z))/sqrt(1 + z), z= 0..1); ? Cheers, Vladimir Bondarenko Co-founder, CEO, Mathematical Director http://www.cybertester.com/ Cyber Tester Ltd. -----------------------------------------... 4 Aug 2010 04:56
RAVEN1 - "You want me to post the VIN before you post your guess, that's idiotic!"
In a bizarre twist Raven demonstrates that HE is the Ravin' lunatic! Or at least a few electrons short of a full valence shell. I can't cheat Raven even if you post the VIN first! This MD5 of my guess GUARANTEES my guess is fixed, so looking at the VIN won't help me. 911aeaf1914cc70a46fd2a65cd97efd7 ... 6 Aug 2010 21:29
free products with amalgamation
Hi! Relativistic "Doppler" shift, and why bp hates cap&trade derivatives [*], if they do.
on the wayside, let me anull the notion that Einstein could not have come-up with that proof of pythag., because it is so monumentally elementary, although Hippocrates lunes proof is not presented in the Euclid version, insofar as I know. * http://tarpley.net/ thus: so, what is your hypothesis as to the mec... 3 Aug 2010 18:04

Centralizers in topological groups
Dear members, Let G be a topological (Hausdorff) group. Let H be an "abstract" subgroup of G (i.e., not neceessary closed, open, ...) and let K denote its topological closure in G. Is it true that C_G(H) is contained in C_G(K)? What about normalizers? I'm sorry if these are too stupid questions. Best wishes, ... 3 Aug 2010 19:09
